Sapphire and Faded Jeans

I've been following myself around with a camera today and documenting things in photo form. Once I get home from work I'll post a few of them.
John Mayer would be disappointed in me!

You should have seen that sunrise with your own eyes

it brought me back to life

You'll be with me next time I go outside

no more 3x5's

It is good to see the world "with both eyes" as John would say, but I just love pictures. Probably about once a week I go back through every last picture I have saved on my computer. There is something so intriguing to me about capturing a moment, a snap shot of life in a little picture. I am so jealous of people who know how to take beautiful pictures (or who have nice cameras). I love looking at pictures of still life, knick knacks, food, faces, action, landscape, colorful, black and white...I just love pictures.

I'm getting so excited about travelling to Europe next month and snapping pictures of my family and where they live and the food they eat and the people they live around. Don't worry family, I won't be like a papparazzi!

But when I come home I want to be able to look at my pictures and remember the time I got to visit my missionary family.

This morning I picked up an Austin American Statesman and drove over to the beauty shop where my Mother-in-law was getting her hair done. We sat and looked through the Classifieds in search of good garage sales. Turns out Georgetown is having a city-wide garage sale in their historic downtown square.

And as I search for my treasures I'll be taking pictures!

P.S. Here's my new house, just outside of Lockhart!
