Beginnings and Endings (or vice versa)

Wednesday was my last Tutor Tots of the semester, and maybe forever! We'll see what's in store for me in the coming months. You just never know what could happen. I might like to do Tutor Tots for two-year-olds forever...but then I guess that would mean I wouldn't have this bunch of crazies next year. And they could never, ever be replaced. Maybe I'll do Tutor Tots for three-year-olds. Hmm...
Check out these wild things:

Below: Don't be fooled. They aren't really sitting still and they aren't really listening. This is simply an image from a dream I once had.
We're reading Caps for Sale, a favorite of mine!

Later in the week:
Karen hung out with some people her own age, and they didn't play Barbies (much to her dismay). No, they did something mature like eating at Mandola's and talking about relationships in their lives.

This is my beautiful friend Courtney.
We went to high school together and I love her.

This is Christi and me. We've been friends for something like forever.
Like my little African maternity shirt?
No. I'm not.

Christi getting some Olive Oil action:
I adore my friends! I was thinking this evening how neat it is that we are still friends so many years after high school. Is that rare? It seems like it is to me. Maybe I just want to feel like I'm rare and different, when in actuality I'm just like everyone else. But enough with my syndromes and disorders: I hope we stay friends forever.
As Michael W. Smith would say: friends are friends forever, if the Lord's the Lord of them.
Can it be true, Michael? Really???

I'm thankful for the beginning of the summer and blessed reunions.
